Wafu School of Ikebana 2010 Flower Show

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of our chapter’s founding, the Wafu Ikebana Society proudly presents its biennial flower show. Nearly 200 arrangements in an extensive array of styles will be displayed and talented artists will demonstrate this exquisite art of Wafu School of Ikebana.

This special event is co-sponsored by the City of Cupertino, the Fremont Union High School District, and the Wafu Ikebana Society.

Where

Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Road, Cupertino (408-777-3120). Right off freeway 280 at freeway 85. A quick and easy 50 minutes south of San Francisco via 280 and 15 minutes north of San Jose. The Center is across Stevens Creek Boulevard from De Anza College.

When

Saturday and Sunday, October 23 and 24, 2010. 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM both days. Demonstrations featuring various artists will be presented at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM both days.

Cost

Exhibit and demonstrations are free! A $5 per person donation to the Wafu Ikebana Society is welcome.

Parking

Limited parking around the Center is free. Additional parking is available at De Anza College for $2 per day (an easy one-block walk from the Quinlan Community Center.)
